Dr. Victoria Reinhartz

Pharmacy Practice Faculty

Dr. Reinhartz is experienced in establishing interprofessional partnerships to improve access to care, disease outcomes, and health equity of the underserved.  She has served in clinical and administrative roles as a Pharmacist-In-Charge for Target Corporation, a clinical pharmacist within the Florida Department of Health-Manatee, and a consultant pharmacist for Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

 

In 2016, Dr. Reinhartz established a clinical partnership within EMS and still serves as the Consultant Pharmacist for the Manatee County Community Paramedicine Program in Bradenton, FL.  Within this role, Dr. Reinhartz and her pharmacist interns resolve medication issues or disease factors which are contributing to frequent 911 use, unnecessary ER visits, or hospitalization. 

In her faculty role within Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Reinhartz has taught in 26 doctoral-level courses and is known for her expertise in chronic disease education, medication management, immunization training programs, and the development of active learning activities designed to demonstrate clinical competency.

Dr. Reinhartz is an advocate of Mobile Integrated Health,  Community Paramedicine, and EMS.  

She envisions equipping every MIH-CP team with access to a consultant pharmacist who is highly trained in mobile medicine needs.
