Medical Director

Erik J. Blutinger, MD, MSc, FACEP is a full-time emergency attending physician at Mount Sinai Health System in New York City. As Medical Director, he has overseen Sinai's Community Paramedicine program for years, building new clinical protocols, forging new partnerships, and training paramedics and physicians alike. Erik has worked in different healthcare systems around the globe, serving underserved communities in places like South Africa and Guatemala. He has written peer-reviewed journal articles, advised start-up companies, presented at major conferences, and has been recruited by global media networks for building safe and effective telemedicine & home care medical solutions for patients and their communities.
