Kentucky MIH and CP Symposium

The Kentucky Office of Rural Health is pleased to offer an MIH/CP Symposium for health systems, EMS and Fire agencies to learn about mobile integrated health and community paramedicine efforts within the State of Kentucky and neighboring southeast region. MIH/CP teams across the state will be in attendance to learn about MIH & CP program efforts, lessons learned, and hot topics within the industry.

CADS Certification

Note: If you have already completed CADS, you may attend the MIH portion only.

The Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist certification is the first offered by NAAC that is geared for EMTs, paramedics, and other EMS field practitioners. Appropriate for anyone involved in EMS clinical care or any aspect of the ambulance service revenue cycle.

This session provides a 4-hour rapid review of targeted content for the IBSC Community Paramedic Certification exam (CP-C) and to support your growth within CP practice.

Matt Zavadsky specializes in helping communities, EMS agencies, fire departments, and healthcare organizations improve and sustain their mobile healthcare systems. With over 40 years of experience in both private and government EMS leadership, Matt is widely recognized as a national thought leader in mobile healthcare innovation.


As the former Chief Transformation Officer at MedStar Mobile Healthcare, Matt led strategic initiatives, healthcare system integration, and community relations. He currently serves as Education Committee Chair for the Academy of International Mobile Healthcare Integration (AIMHI) and holds leadership roles with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, the NFPA EMS & MIH Standards Committee, and the National EMS Advisory Council.


Matt’s work has shaped national EMS policy, including contributions to the Institute of Medicine’s healthcare policy initiatives and NHTSA’s “Model EMS System of the Future.”

Dr. Victoria Reinhartz is an industry leader within Emergency Medical Services and the Chief Executive Officer of Mobile Health Consultants, helping Mobile Integrated Health and Community Paramedicine teams establish frameworks, track outcomes, and prove their impact as they navigate the path to revenue.

 

She is also the founder of MIH Academy, providing education and training to paramedicine teams. As a lead faculty within the MIH Academy, Dr. Reinhartz helps community paramedics take their real-world experience and establish themselves as board certified industry leaders​​
